Single-arm lighting poles are core infrastructure for municipal roads, rural lighting, and residential area lighting. Their quality and lifespan depend on the entire process, from material selection and production to installation and acceptance. Below is a summary of essential process guidelines for the entire project, helping you avoid pitfalls during procurement and construction.

I. Core Material Selection

Prioritize high-quality Q235 carbon steel, known for its high toughness, stable wind pressure resistance, and suitability for various outdoor environments. Match the wall thickness and height according to the usage scenario: for 3-6 meter courtyard and rural road light pole, a wall thickness of 2.5mm is recommended; for 6-12 meter municipal road light pole, a wall thickness of no less than 3.0mm is required, strictly prohibiting the use of thin materials and substandard workmanship. Simultaneously verify the qualifications of raw materials to avoid using recycled steel and prevent later deformation and cracking of the road light pole.

II. Processing

After material selection, standardized processing is carried out. The first step is fully automated seamless welding, ensuring a smooth and firm connection between the road light pole body and the light arm, without any incomplete or missing welds. The core anti-corrosion process utilizes hot-dip galvanizing, where high-temperature zinc immersion ensures a tight bond between the zinc layer and the steel, preventing rust and corrosion from the source. Finally, electrostatic powder coating completes the finish, resulting in a uniform, delicate paint surface with strong adhesion, resisting sun and rain exposure. It will not peel or fade over long-term use, with an outdoor lifespan of over 20 years.

III. Standard Installation

Before installation, precise measurements and layout are performed. Concrete foundations of the corresponding specifications are poured according to the pole height, and the pre-embedded anchor bolts are kept horizontally aligned to avoid tilting. After the foundation concrete has completely solidified, the pole is hoisted, and the verticality is finely adjusted, with deviations controlled within the specified range. After fixing the bolts, the power cable routing is neatly arranged, and waterproof sealing is ensured to prevent leakage and short circuits, making it suitable for outdoor use in rainy and snowy weather.

IV. Acceptance and Maintenance

Post-completion acceptance focuses on checking for any bending of the street lighting poles, damage to the paint, and defects in the welds. The lights are tested to ensure normal operation and no leakage in the wiring. Routine maintenance only requires periodic cleaning of surface dust and checking the tightness of bolts and the condition of the wiring. Frequent repairs are unnecessary, resulting in extremely low maintenance costs. With meticulous process control, the advantages of single-arm lighting poles-stability, aesthetics, and durability-are maximized, making them suitable for various outdoor lighting projects.
