Light + Intelligent Building Middle East, a significant Messe Frankfurt event, took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 12–14, 2026.

Ninety percent of the world's top companies, including Philips, Osram, and Schneider Electric, choose to introduce new products at this exhibition, which sets global trends for new lighting and building electrical technologies. Intelligent lighting control systems, low-carbon lighting technologies, and creative building electrical solutions are just a few examples of the products that can make their worldwide debut here and become a major catalyst for industry technological advancement. Additionally, Phoebus took part in the Middle East exhibition of Light + Intelligent Building.

At this exhibition, LED lighting and energy-saving technologies accounted for 42% of the exhibits. Phoebus highlighted its innovative product adapted to the extreme environment of the Middle East: an integrated solar street light with extremely high conversion efficiency. The Middle East has extremely strong overall sunlight conditions, characterized by long hours of sunshine, high solar radiation intensity, and a high percentage of sunny days, making solar street lights ideally suited for this environment.

The market size is projected to exceed $2 billion by 2030, with the UAE and Saudi Arabia combined accounting for 77% of the market share. This growth is driven by both policy and demand: the UAE's Smart Building Regulation 3.0 mandates the installation of lighting environment management modules in new projects, and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 allocates $500 billion to the NEOM New City project, with 38% of the infrastructure budget specifically earmarked for smart lighting.
