5. According to the production and safety needs of the port, it is possible to consider installing monitoring and communication devices on high poles to ensure full utilization of port facilities and save investment.

6. Scientifically select lamps. LED lamps are characterized by high efficiency, energy saving, long life, economical, and durable, and are now commonly used in port lighting. In the selection of lamps, in addition to considering the light intensity distribution and lamp efficiency of the lamps, the dustproof, waterproof, earthquake resistance, mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, heat dissipation, and other properties of the lamps should also be considered. Generally, the protection level of the lamps is required to be IP65 or above, and there should be brackets for adjusting the azimuth angle.

7. The lighting equipment of oil terminals, grain terminals, and chemical terminals must be explosion-proof products, such as explosion-proof electric control boxes, explosion-proof lamps, flame-retardant cables, etc., and a complete and reliable set of safety measures must be taken during equipment maintenance.
