What are the processes involved in anti-corrosion street pole manufacturing? Let's take a look with lighting pole factory Phoebus.

Steel Processing and Preliminary Machining

To ensure a smooth surface, the steel plate is first rolled and ground during the manufacturing process of anti-corrosion street poles. The flange and lamp arm are then welded together, and to ensure a smooth and stable surface, the weld seams are ground to eliminate flaws.

Galvanizing and Powder Coating

In order to improve corrosion resistance, the pole is then ground and galvanized. The anti-corrosion street pole is finished when it is packaged after being powder coated and painted the desired color.

Pole Material and Manufacturing Process

The pole, which is the main part of the streetlight, is composed of Q235A low-carbon steel, which offers exceptional resistance to earthquakes and wind. The wall thickness is X mm, the pole height is X meters, and the upper and lower diameters are X mm and X mm, respectively. It has a flange at the bottom and is fastened firmly to the foundation with anchor bolts. Automatic submerged arc welding is employed in the manufacturing process to guarantee surface smoothness and welding dependability. Ultrasonic testing is performed, and the welding quality of the light pole meets the GB11345 Class II standard.

Corrosion Protection and Processing

The light pole's corrosion protection is achieved through internal and external hot-dip galvanizing and electrostatic powder coating, involving multiple processes such as pickling, hot-dip galvanizing, washing, phosphating, and passivation. The galvanized layer thickness reaches over 86µm, conforming to the national standard GB/T13912-92. The powder coating layer thickness reaches over 10µm, with adhesion meeting the GB9286-880 standard, resulting in a smooth surface and high hardness.

Other Key Technical Parameters and Inspection

Technical Parameters and Error Range: The allowable error for light pole height is ±5%, and the error range for beam arm height (length) is ±1%. The rated operating voltage is 220V (RMS), the rated insulation voltage is 500V (RMS), and the rated frequency is 50Hz. Insulation resistance ≥500MΩ, dielectric strength capable of withstanding AC 50Hz, 15kV (RMS) voltage for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover.

Inspection Standards and Packaging Requirements: The inspection of light poles will be conducted according to the Quality Management Manual, Inspection and Testing Specifications, and relevant national standards and technical documents. The inspection of luminaires will refer to GB3037-91 standard, combined with other relevant national standards and technical documents. Braided straps and boxed packaging will be used to ensure safety during transportation.
