Due to their wide illumination range, high mast lights are suitable for locations requiring large-area lighting, such as airports, parking lots, parks and plazas, city squares, stations, docks, freight yards, highways, stadiums, and overpasses. Currently, high mast lights are classified and referred to differently depending on their intended use. For example, those used at docks are called dock high mast lights, while those used in plazas are called plaza high mast lights. Other names for these lights include port high mast lights, airport high mast lights, explosion-proof high mast lights, and stainless steel high mast lights. Currently, the most common high mast lights on the market use 400W-1000W floodlights, providing a 360-degree illumination range.
For high mast lights operating at heights between 20 and 45 meters, liftable high mast lights are often used. This effectively reduces installation effort. Alternatively, standard high mast lights require no lifting system and are relatively inexpensive.
High mast light poles typically come in octagonal, twelve-sided, or eighteen-sided pyramidal shapes, constructed from high-strength, high-quality steel plates through shearing, bending, and automated welding. Hot-dip galvanized surface, corrosion-resistant, and oxidation-resistant. Service life: 20-30 years.
Lightning protection system: A 1.5-meter-long lightning rod is installed on the top of the lamp, and a 1-meter-long grounding wire is installed in the underground foundation and welded to the underground bolts.

Technical parameters for 20-meter, 25-meter, and 30-meter lift-type high-mast lights:
20-meter: The upper diameter of the pole is 260mm, the lower diameter is 460mm, and the pole has two sleeves with wall thicknesses of 6mm and 8mm, respectively.
25-meter: The upper diameter of the pole is 280mm, the lower diameter is 540mm, and the pole has three sleeves with wall thicknesses of 6mm, 8mm, and 8mm, respectively.
30-meter: The upper diameter of the pole is 280mm, the lower diameter is 640mm, and the pole has three sleeves with wall thicknesses of 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm, respectively.
In addition, during maintenance, the following aspects should be noted:
Lift-type high-mast lights require enhanced maintenance and management in three areas to ensure safe operation. First, conduct regular and comprehensive inspections, focusing on the structural integrity of the light panel, the flexibility of the lifting mechanism, and the stability of the remote control signal. Simultaneously test the insulation of the electrical circuits and the responsiveness of the control system. Immediately address any abnormalities or faults to prevent further safety hazards.
Second, strictly enforce safety regulations. Maintenance personnel must undergo professional training and be proficient in the equipment's structure, principles, and operation methods. During operations, adhere to procedures and avoid arbitrarily simplifying steps. Safety helmets, gloves, and other protective equipment must be worn to ensure personal protection.
Third, improve emergency response procedures. For emergencies such as light panel lifting failures and remote control malfunctions, clearly define emergency measures, such as power outages and activation of backup equipment. Regular emergency drills should be conducted to enhance maintenance personnel's emergency response capabilities and ensure the safety of both personnel and equipment.
