(1) Material:

The steel material for the plaza high poles shall be specially manufactured low-silicon, low-carbon, high-strength steel, with a thickness of not less than 6 mm and a bottom flange thickness ≥20 mm. The hot-dip galvanized bottom must ensure hardness and adhesion, and the surface must not turn black. It must conform to international or enterprise standards, and a steel supply contract and steel quality certificate must be provided. The floodlight mounting bracket shall be made of disassembled channel steel.

(2) Requirements:

Based on the surface shape determined by the tenderer and the manufacturer's structural parameters, the plaza high poles shall be designed to withstand earthquakes of level 7 and winds of level 12. The main pole shall be a dodecagonal pyramid shape. For ease of transportation, the high-mast plaza high poles shall be plug-in type, with each section formed in one piece. The plug-in length shall not be less than 500 mm, and the common gap after plugging shall not exceed 3 mm. Reliable limiting devices and sturdy devices shall be provided. The foundation design of the plaza high pole should be consistent with the plaza high pole itself. The foundation should be a concrete structure, with anchor bolts for securing the plaza high pole flange and lower flanges for securing the anchor bolts. Conduit pipes for incoming and outgoing cables should be pre-embedded in the foundation. The conduit should be made of hot-dip galvanized steel, and the foundation reinforcement, concrete strength grade, and other details should be marked on the construction drawings. The foundation should conform to the GBJ11-89 seismic design standard for buildings. All fasteners except the foundation bolts should be made of stainless steel, ensuring reliability, durability, and ease of use. Washers and spring washers should be added when tightening all nuts, and the exposed screw should not be less than two thread pitches above the nut after tightening. An independent lightning rod should be installed at the top, with a length of 0.5 meters (the lightning rod tip should not be powder-coated). Grounding electrodes should be installed around the base of the light fixture, with a grounding resistance not exceeding 30 ohms. The grounding electrode should be a 2.5-meter-long, 50*5 galvanized angle steel, and the connecting wire should be a 25*4 galvanized flat steel. The grounding electrode should be reliably connected to the plaza high pole, light panel, distribution box, etc., forming a reliable conductive path. The manufacturer provides pole body drawings and stress calculation sheets based on the pole design drawings, including calculation sheets for embedded bolts, flanges, etc., and provides technical drawings and basic detailed drawings of the pole (basic cross-sectional view, diagram of the location of embedded cable pipes in the base, diagram of bolt connection to the high-mast lamp, diagram of the location of embedded parts in the base, etc.).

(3) Welding process:

Welding shall be performed using a large submerged arc welding machine. The entire pole body should be free of any missed welds, with smooth welds and no welding defects. Welding flaw detection parameters are required.

(4) Hot-dip galvanizing process:

The inner and outer surfaces of the pole, the lamp panel, and all metal fittings shall be hot-dip galvanized. The galvanized layer shall be uniform and not less than 65 μm thick; the galvanized surface shall be smooth and aesthetically pleasing.

(5) Powder Coating Process:

After galvanizing, passivation treatment should be performed to ensure good adhesion of the powder coating, with a thickness ≥80 μm.

(6) Overall Appearance:

The shape and dimensions should meet the requirements, with a smooth and harmonious appearance, aesthetically pleasing, uniform color, and uniform taper ratio. The pole surface should be smooth and uniform, without transverse welds.

(7) Verticality Inspection:

After the plaza high pole is erected, the verticality of the pole in both directions should be checked using a theodolite. The verticality should be ≤0.2%.
