1. Wall thickness:

The wall thickness of LED street light poles refers to the thickness of the steel plate used to make the poles. Common specifications are 2.3mm, 2.5mm, 2.75mm, 3mm, and 3.5mm. The wall thickness of the led street light pole should not be too small, because the wall thickness of the pole that is too small will cause uneven roundness during the rolling process, affecting the overall aesthetics and mechanical properties of the pole. Excessive thickness of the pole wall will increase the weight of the pole and increase the cost. Therefore, the selection of the pole should consider the lighter weight while meeting customer requirements.

2. Round poles and vertebral poles:

The conventional types of led street light poles are round poles and vertebral poles. Round poles refer to the same upper and lower diameters, which are often used in places with a height of 12 meters. Vertical poles refer to different upper and lower diameters, which are often used in places where the pole height is higher than 12 meters. Vertical poles have better mechanical strength and wind resistance than round poles.

3. Anti-corrosion and oxidation resistance:

Conventional led street light poles are made of Q235 hot-rolled steel plates rolled and welded. After hot-dip galvanizing, they have good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. After the surface is sprayed, the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance are further improved. The lamp pole after hot-dip galvanizing and spraying has a service life of more than 10 years.

4. Lamp arm:

The diameter of the lamp arm is mostly 48mm and 60mm, which can ensure the smooth installation and reliable fixation of the lamp. If the lamp arm requires a special size, a reducing sleeve needs to be added to facilitate the fixed installation of the lamp.

5. Wind resistance level design:

The wind resistance level of the LED street light pole is directly related to the height and wall thickness of the lamp pole. We can design according to the different customer requirements to meet the corresponding wind resistance requirements. When designing the wind resistance level of the LED street light pole, you should know the basic information such as the upper and lower diameters of the pole, the wall thickness of the pole, the wind resistance size, the height of the pole, the material of the pole, etc. You also need to know the length of the lamp arm, the size of the battery panel, the angle of the battery panel, whether there is a wind turbine, the size of the lamp, and other parameter information to be able to design the wind resistance level more comprehensively, so as to ensure that it can meet customer requirements fully.

6. Embedded parts:

The size of the embedded parts of street lights should comply with the standard regulations, including the base diameter, height, bracket length, etc. The material selection should meet the standard requirements and generally requires good corrosion resistance, wind resistance, and earthquake resistance. The quality of the material directly affects the service life and stability of the embedded parts.
